¿No hablas español?

Would you like to do an internship in South America, but is your knowledge of Spanish limited to 'dos cervezas por favor'? Or maybe you're going to study for a semester in Paris next year, but French has never been your best subject. Don't worry. As of September 2019, Artevelde University of Applied Sciences will offer language courses for students going abroad for their studies or internship.

Why?

Immersing yourself in a foreign culture is a lot easier if you have the necessary language skills. The main purpose of the language courses is to hone your oral and written communication skills. Should you choose French or English, expect a more commercial approach; these courses will also teach you how to communicate fluently and confidently in professional settings. Should be useful for your internship, right?

When?

  • From the first semester (3rd week of September) of the academic year 2019-2020.
  • Classes take place in the evening between 18:00 and 22:00.

These courses are taught in a blended learning format, which means that face-to-face lectures in groups are alternated with self-study and assignments via the online learning platform.

Where?

Campus Kantienberg – Voetweg 66 – 9000 Ghent – Belgium

Cost?

If you're a student at Artevelde University of Applied Sciences, the course fee is 11 euros per credit per semester.

If you're not a student at Artevelde University of Applied Sciences, you will also need to pay an administrative fee of 238.30 euros.
