International Graphic and Digital Media

Third year taught in English, 180 ECTS, 3 academic years, Campus Mariakerke
This English variant of the Bachelor of Graphic and Digital Media will teach you the necessary commercial and management skills to call yourself an expert of digital, social and print media and to start working in the international media sector. You know how to translate the client's ideas and expectations into creative campaigns, taking into account the technical possibilities. Together with the client, you monitor the progress of a project and adjust your team where necessary.

The city centre of Ghent is expecting nearly 80,000 students in the coming weeks. Therefore, starting Monday 7 September, the obligation to wear a face mask will be expanded to the student district. Wearing a mask will be mandatory for everyone aged 12 years or older in the Sint-Pietersnieuwstraat – Overpoort axis and adjacent streets. On top of that, the city calls on everyone to wear a face mask in other busy areas. That way, we continue to protect ourselves and others against the virus.

For whom?

You have a creative and entrepreneurial attitude and are fascinated by the opportunities in the international graphic and digital sector.

You will gradually broaden your knowledge of English to prepare for the fully English-taught final year. This programme focuses on practice from day one, and you will specialise yourself in creative thinking and technology.

Campus and accessibility

Campus Mariakerke is often referred to as the media campus of Artevelde University of Applied Sciences.
My first employer was EskoArtwork, a company producing prepress software and hardware. As an application engineer I trained customers all over the world to use our products. Later on, as a colour management consultant for MACtac, I delivered support to customers and distributors, mainly in Europe and the Middle East. Since the academic year, I am a practical lecturer in the Graphic and Digital Media programme at Artevelde University of Applied Sciences.
