Bachelor

International Office Management (Business & Languages)

Taught in English, 180 ECTS, 3 academic years, Campus Kantienberg

Why this programme?

What better way to learn than in an actual real-life setting? Bringing the theory to life with interesting cases, workshops, projects and internships is an important part of your education in International Office Management (Business & Languages). Already from the first year onwards you step outside your classroom door in order to learn from professionals themselves. You will learn to draw up a marketing plan, practice your telephoning skills, etc.

Speaking in tongues

A natural born linguist? Then you should really consider this programme! Learn to communicate like a pro in English and in two other foreign languages. Opt for German, Spanish, French or Chinese. Or join another foreign language course of your choice at an external accredited institution.

Do I need to be fluent in English?
As International Office Management is taught entirely in English, you will need to master it sufficiently. You can prove your language level through one of our own language screenings or provide us with a certificate of our approved language skills tests.

What about other languages?
You will also need a basic level of French. For any other foreign language you do not need specific prior knowledge, just a keen interest to learn and a can-do attitude.

Digital is key

In a rapidly changing digital world, it is crucial to know how to deal with the latest information and media tools. Working in the cloud, starting up an e-commerce or even developing a basic website: it will all be part of your study track. You do not need to become a computer expert. But being passionate about social media and creative digital and Office software will give you a great head start. No wonder these topics are key ingredients in your International Office Management programme.

The sky is the limit

In the third year, you get the chance to spend one term of study abroad at one of our worldwide partner institutions. On top of that, we strongly recommend doing your internship abroad in the second semester. Broaden your horizon and relocate to Kuala Lumpur, Miami or Beijing. Our international students can choose between going abroad or continuing their foreign experience in Belgium.
