Midwifery (Dutch)
A competency based curriculum forms the basis for quality in education and for safe caretaking.This vision leads to a dual path: on the one side, the midwife in the work field and on the other side, the midwife in training. The full three year bachelor programme is taught in Dutch.
Degree programme (Dutch)
In 2008 the Midwifery Department received a special quality label from the Accreditation Council NVAO for this curriculum development and expertise in competency-based learning.
Exchange programme (English)
Healthcare Studies is a modular-based program which facilitates students to opt for a program consisting of a compulsory vs. an optional, an inter- vs. a professional and a common part vs. a tailor-made part.

The job
A graduate is legally qualified to practice autonomously as a professional midwife, with medical competencies in the antenatal health care.
