Artevelde Business School has a strong emphasis on several business subjects, communication skills intercultural awareness. Students can choose from a number of electives to create an interesting programme that fully meets their needs and wishes.
Artevelde Business School welcomes exchange students twice a year in the international semester programmes: first semester starts in September and runs till the first week of February (including exams and second chance exams). The second semester starts second week of February till the beginning of July (including exams and second chance exams). A welcome week is organized before the start of the courses and is a compulsory activity for all exchange students.
Exchange students join our local students in mixed classrooms. Our aim is to prepare students to live and work in a multicultural environment, free from prejudices sometimes preventing cooperation. Artevelde Business School excels in practical education with applied exercises, lots of real-life assignments, group work, presentations, etc. Students will not have time to sit still and will need to network with class mates to stand out.
The modules incorporate both introductory and advanced level courses. We like getting international students with some prior knowledge of business, but it is possible to be a new student in Business and take one of the semester programmes to get introduced to what it is to do business in Europe and the rest of the world.
All exchange students participating in the Artevelde Business School should add an English language proficiency certificate (minimum B2) to their nomination. We accept TOEFL (minimum B2), CEFR (minimum 72), IELTS (minimum 6). Obviously, this only applies to non-native speakers of English.
