Entrepreneurship, organization and competences
This pillar focuses on promoting entrepreneurship in its broadest sense. It comprises both corporate entrepreneurship concerned with creating economic added value, social entrepreneurship concerned with creating innovation in the non-profit sector and personal entrepreneurship or ‘intrapreneurship’ concerning entrepreneurial skills at the individual level.
Consequently, we work with private, public and social organizations, but also with students. We mainly focus on SMEs and counselling start-ups. Our Artevelde University of Applied Sciences pays special attention to the promotion and counselling of entrepreneurship in deprived groups.

Creativity and innovation
Entrepreneurship can only thrive if enough attention is paid to creativity and innovation. Therefore, entrepreneurs should not only be empowered by their idea but also need some basic skills and knowledge in creativity and innovation.
HR-policy, directed to the development of competences and talents
Competence development requires permanent attention and stimulation in order to develop talents. Therefore we develop methodologies to identify and maximize staff members’ skills and competences. Furthermore, we offer training to support and counsel organizations on the optimization of their human capital.
Management and organizational development
Inspired by worldwide movements concerning innovation, communication and demands for ethical, sustainable and global entrepreneurship, our expertise is aimed at the development of the competences and communication tools needed to manage cooperation models.
